One Tech’s warehouse storage solution
After conducting a comprehensive on-site survey, One Tech designed a storage solution that combines a mezzanine floor racking system with medium duty racks. This configuration makes full use of the warehouse’s vertical space while significantly increasing storage capacity without expanding the building footprint.
The warehouse was configured as a two-level storage system. The ground floor features rows of medium duty racks used to organize automotive parts by product category, SKU, or inventory turnover. With multiple shelf levels, products can be arranged systematically, making inventory management easier and reducing picking time.
A key feature of this project is that the medium duty racks function not only as storage shelves but also as the primary structural support for the mezzanine floor above. This integrated design reduces the number of independent support columns, maximizes usable floor space, and creates a strong, stable storage structure throughout the warehouse.
The upper mezzanine level is dedicated to storing reserve inventory and slow-moving spare parts, allowing products to be distributed more efficiently across different storage areas. Guardrails, walkways, and clearly defined storage zones were incorporated into the design to ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations.
With this solution, CARPLA substantially increased its storage capacity without expanding its warehouse while establishing a professional storage system capable of supporting future business growth.
